Big Sur Fire

The above photo of Big Sur was shot years ago near the wonderful Nepenthe restaurant. Big Sur and can serene, calm, and absolutely transporting. Today, however, more than 5,000 firefighters are risking their lives fighting a blaze which began in the area on July 22, 2016. Our thoughts and prayers go out to them and the citizens of this beautiful national treasure.
